Teen Crafternoon: Bad Art
Unleash your creativity without fear of creating the perfect design! In this program, you'll use art supplies to create an ugly piece of artwork! Many supplies will be available during this open workshop.
Anime Meetup & DIY Candy Sushi
Meet other teens who like anime in this meetup. A Librarian will lead this program for teens. Teens will create candy sushi, try some Japanese treats, and watch several episodes of anime.
Teen Crafternoon: Tie Dye Tote Bags

Teen Crafternoon: Make Your Own Sticker and Magnet Workshop

During this program, participants will use a vinyl cutter program to cut and create a sticker. This sticker could be a design, quote, or your initials. Stickers can be used on laptops, phones, cars, planners, or anywhere! You'll also be able to craft some magnets during this program.

Gr 4-8: Love chess? Join our chess club! There will be a puzzle or a new strategy at the beginning of each session, followed by playing a game of chess. A teen moderator will lead the group and help instruct on chess skills. This club is for kids who already know how to play chess. Chess Club meets on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month. - Teen Leaders will be leading/helping with activities during the Teen Late Night at the Library from 5pm - 11pm on Saturday August 10th.
Gr 7-12: This is a monthly service opportunity for teens to help the library with book displays, decorating the Teen Zone, and other fun tasks! Often you will do brainstorming sessions with the Teen Librarian to come up with programs, services, and anything that you think the Teen Department needs. Receive one volunteer hour for attending this program. This is a great way to get involved with the library. Snacks & drinks will be served. New faces always welcome! :)
