Teen Pizza Movie Afternoon: The Hate You Give

During the meeting, we'll share our favorite recently read books, do a bookish craft, and hear from the librarian about new release books.

Interviewing Skills for Teens

  • Words and phrases to avoid during the interview
  • How to prepare for an interview to improve your chances
  • The most commonly asked teen interviewing questions

Parents are welcome to attend with their teen.

Gr 4-8: Love chess? Join our chess club! There will be a puzzle or a new strategy at the beginning of each session, followed by playing a game of chess. A teen moderator will lead the group and help instruct on chess skills. This club is for kids who already know how to play chess. Chess Club meets on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month. Please use the online calendar to register for sessions or click on each date below to register.

Gr 7-12: This is a monthly service opportunity for teens to help the library with book displays, decorating the Teen Zone, and other fun tasks! Often you will do brainstorming sessions with the Teen Librarian to come up with programs, services, and anything that you think the Teen Department needs. Receive one volunteer hour for attending this program. This is a great way to get involved with the library. Snacks & drinks will be served. New faces always welcome! :)
