Winter Market - Sugar Grove's Indoor Farmer's Market

Shop for local food and goods straight from Illinois farmers and producers, even in the Winter. This Winter Market series is a fundraiser benefiting the Sugar Grove Public Library District sponsored by the Sugar Grove Library Foundation.

Interested Vendors: 

The Winter Market previously offered space free of charge. Beginning with the 2023-2024 Winter Market season, the event is now a fundraiser sponsored by the Sugar Grove Library Foundation requiring a fee to participate. The fee is $20 per date or $100 for all 7 dates if paid in full. Six-foot tables are available for each vendor, additional tables available dependent upon space. The Library is offering the space in partnership with the local community and to contribute to the rich tradition of farming, small business and craft tradition of the surrounding Kaneland area. We may limit vendors according to space, and do not intend to double-book similar product/companies.   

Vendors wishing to participate will need to be prepared to set up their table and clean the meeting room space when done. The Library will work to promote the Winter Market to the community, and welcomes input and suggestions. All applicable sales taxes and regulations are the sole responsibility of the vendors.

Applications for the full 2023-2024 season will be accepted through October 1, 2023. Applications will be accepted after that based on availability of space.

There are 20 spaces available on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

Cost 

The Winter Market is a fundraiser for the Sugar Grove Public Library. There are 20 spaces available. Each table reservation is $20. If you are signing up for all 7 dates there is a discounted fee of $100 instead of $140. Payment should be made by check to the Sugar Grove Library Foundation. 

Vendors may purchase two tables.

Documents That May Be Needed for Application Submission:

Special Event Tax Payment Forms - Illinois Department of Revenue requirement

The Library must submit a list of participants for each Winter Market. The Illinois Department of Revenue may then follow up with you regarding your sales tax payments.

The relevant dated form will be available at each event, and is listed here for your convenience.
