"Second Saturday" Farmers WinterMarket
Shop for local food and goods straight from Illinois farmers and producers, even in the Winter. We are working in partnership with the Sugar Grove Farmer's Market as well as other Illinois producers to provide a WinterMarket that will be held every "Second Saturday" in the cold months.
Patrons may browse the WinterMarket from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on January 14, February 11, March 11, April 8, and May 13.
Please download complete the APPLICATION to participate in the WinterMarket. You may send it to the attention of the Library Director or e-mail email Shannon@sgpl.org. Please call 630-466-4686 for questions or suggestions.
Space will be made available for up to 15 vendors, no entry fee. Six feet tables are available for each vendor, additional tables available dependent upon space. The Library is offering the space free of charge in partnership with the local agriculture community and to contribute to the farming rich tradition of the surrounding Kaneland area. A donation to the Friends of the Library will be suggested should the market be successful. Vendors wishing to participate will need to be prepared to set up their table and clean the meeting room space when done. The Library will work to promote the Wintermarket to the community, and welcomes input and suggestions. All applicable sales taxes and regulations are the sole responsibility of the vendors.
